Hyderabad: In a celebration of India’s rich artistic legacy, Pink Gulabb – The Heritage Edit, a curated exhibition showcasing the country’s heritage weaves, traditional art and craftsmanship, is being presented in Hyderabad for the first time on August 21 and 22 at CCT Space, Banjara Hills.

The exhibition was inaugurated by actor, social entrepreneur and environmentalist Amala Akkineni, who appreciated the initiative for bringing India’s diverse craft traditions and the stories of its master artisans to a contemporary audience. “Preserving our heritage is not only about protecting the past, but also about ensuring that these incredible skills and livelihoods continue into the future,” she said.

Founded and curated by Mohua Chatterjee, Pink Gulabb was born from her desire to create a meaningful bridge between India’s rich craft heritage and the contemporary woman who appreciates design, individuality and authenticity.

“Pink Gulabb is my way of creating a space where our heritage finds a contemporary voice. I believe that every weave, every stitch and every handmade piece carries the imprint of the person and tradition behind it,” says Mohua Chatterjee.
