PIS Keesara: Students discuss way to curb corruption
The first International Anti-Corruption Day was celebrated across the world in the year 2005.

Students of Pallavi International School, Keesara, observed Anti-Corruption Day on December 9 at a virtually event. It is observed every year globally to raise awareness on the importance of a corruption –free society. The first International Anti-Corruption Day was celebrated across the world in the year 2005.
The programme started with sharing of different videos to help the students understand what ‘corruption’ is. Students spoke on the issue saying that the menace is fast spreading andthere was an urgent need to arrest the spread of corruption. They also mentioned various measures to curb corruption.
Some children came up with art work on corruption and its ill-effects while some came up with slogans to stop the evil. By this online activity students got an insight into the impact of corruption on the economic development of a country -its causes and consequences.
