The MoUs outline joint programmes in agricultural education and research, including a dual degree programme in BSc Agriculture, where students will spend three years at PJTAU and one year at WSU. Upon completion, students will receive a BSc Agriculture degree from PJTAU and a BSc degree in Agricultural Food Science from WSU.
A high-level delegation from WSU, led by Prof. Ian Anderson, held a crucial meeting with PJTAU Vice Chancellor Prof. Aldas Janaiah here on Tuesday. The agreements also provide opportunities for 25-30 Telangana students to pursue PG studies and PhD programmes at WSU each year.
Additionally, PJTAU and WSU signed an agreement on introducing artificial intelligence-based technologies in agriculture, which will benefit Telangana farmers.
