Hyderabad: Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) is all set to launch its AgHub-Agri Innovation Hub on the varsity campus here on Monday.
The AgHub-Agri Innovation Hub will be inaugurated by Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy in the presence of Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy, IT Minister, KT Rama Rao, Telangana Rythu Bandhu Samiti, chairman and MLC Dr. P Rajeshwar Reddy and NABARD, chairman, Dr Govinda Rajulu Chintala
The AgHub focuses on innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, research ecosystem, and rural innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem. It operates in a hub and spoke model, where the Innovation Hub on the university campus supports the Agritech startups through innovation-incubation-acceleration of the startups pan-India, whereas the rural innovation spokes in Jagtial, Warangal and Vikarabad districts would cater for the promotion of rural entrepreneurship for building agribusiness enterprises promoted by rural youth, women, farmers and FPOs etc., the PJTSAU said on Saturday.
