Hyderabad: Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University’s (PJTSAU) innovation hub – AgHub — launched its incubation programme. As part of the launch, AgHub signed MoUs with two startups, namely ETGarage and Terracent Materials in the presence of Dr. V Praveen Rao, chairperson, AgHub, and Vice Chancellor, PJTSAU.
Rao welcomed the startups and promised to render support in innovation-incubation and enterprise building support. He pointed that Agritech startups have a great opportunity to bring about the desired change at the grassroots level and emphasized that the startup ecosystem is the need of the hour and leveraging the same has become much easier with the support of the State.
ETGarage and Terracent Materials signed MOUs with AgHub for Incubation programme in the area of emerging technologies for areas of innovation, incubation, product development, entrepreneurship building, and go-to-market support in the agriculture and food ecosystem. While ETGarage focuses on development and implementation of emerging technologies including blockchain, IOT, AI and ML, Terracent Materials work towards creating bio-waste polymers from agricultural waste.
