Pleasant weather in Hyderabad to bring rains and thunderstorms later in the day
Though some areas may experience brief spells of heavy rain and thunderstorms by evening, the overall weather is expected to stay overcast, with maximum temperatures ranging between 32°C and 34°C.
Hyderabad: Hyderabad and districts will continue to enjoy pleasant cloudy and overcast conditions, with sporadic spells of thunderstorms and gusty winds on Wednesday.
While a few spells of heavy rains and thunderstorms are expected at some places by evening, overall the weather will remain overcast with maximum temperatures hovering around 32 degrees Celsius and 34 degrees Celsius.
Based on the forecast from the Hyderabad MET department, chances are high for a few places in Hyderabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri and Rangareddy district to witness heavy thunderstorms accompanied with gusty winds of 30 to 40 kmph.
The Wednesday afternoon weather forecast from IMD-Hyderabad has indicated that all districts of State will receive thunderstorms and gusty winds on Thursday. Overall, Telangana State will continue to receive rains till May 28, according to the forecast.
Meanwhile, the maximum temperatures are likely to drop below normal by 3 degrees Celsius to 5 degrees Celsius across State. The maximum daytime temperatures are expected to remain between 32 degrees Celsius and 34 degrees Celsius in Hyderabad and other parts of the State.
