Pallavi Model School, Bowenpally organised a ‘Star Quest- Ramp Walk’ competition for the students of grades VIII to XII as part of the Children’s Day celebrations. The Theme was ‘recreating looks of fictional characters.’
Students were asked to create a 1-minute video and a collage with the original picture following which students’ recreated the characters. It’s not every day that we see so much creativity and hard work in one frame.
It was commendable to see how every student portrayed a story by showing a character while inculcating a speck of themselves, the school said. The charm and beauty of individuals are reflected in the body language, the dresses they wear and the way they carry it.
Fashion has always been a repetition of ideas but what makes it new is the way one puts it together, the school said.
The event witnessed children walking the ramp, exuding confidence and style in their alluring outfits of the most iconic movie characters. Judgment was based on attire, background, walking stance and appearance (makeup and hairdo). Children’s performance was appreciated by teachers and parents alike at the virtual meet.
