Hyderabad: Pallavi Model School, Bowenpally commemorated the birth anniversary of the first Prime Minister of India Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. A day marking childhood was celebrated with fun and frolic on a virtual platform.
The teachers came out with an array of entertaining performances devoted to children. The programme began with a prayer song. Various performances like song rendition, story, and poem recitation enthralled everyone.
A news item presented to the students was hilarious and left everyone in splits. Students presented shloka recitation and dance. The musical show by the music department and dance show put up by teachers were added attractions.
Memories of the time spent by students at school were revived through a video named, ‘Down the memory lane’. The vice-principal Sindhu Jayraj conveyed Children’s Day greetings and expressed concerns for the well-being of all. The programme was well received and applauded by all.
