Kothagudem: Police have registered a case under the POCSO Act against 10 persons in Annapureddipalle mandal of Kothagudem district.
They were accused of attacking a minor boy who was found alone with a minor girl at her home during the night on Wednesday. According to locals, the accused entered the girl’s house, caught the boy, tied him to a tree and beat him without even questioning the two children.
The accused, who were said to be village elders, also subjected the girl to severe verbal abuse besides beating the boy. It was said that the boy was the girl’s elder brother.
