Police book married woman, lover for conspiracy to kill husband

Khammam police booked a married woman and her alleged lover for allegedly plotting to kill her husband after WhatsApp and Instagram chats surfaced. The complainant submitted copies of the messages to police, following which a Zero FIR was registered and transferred.

Khammam: A married woman and her paramour were booked by police for allegedly plotting to kill the woman’s husband.

According to police, Gade Rajeshwara Rao, a native of Chilukodu village in Dornakal mandal of Mahabubabad district, has been living at Sai Prabhatnagar in Edulapuram Municipality of Khammam district and working at a private hospital in Khammam.

He married Bhavani, a native of Raghavapuram village in Mothe mandal of Suryapet district, in 2016. They have two daughters. On July 27, when Rajeshwara Rao went home for lunch in the afternoon, he allegedly found his wife being intimate with another man.

Rajeshwara Rao then planned a panchayat at Chilukodu on July 28 in the presence of elders. While he was going to his elder brother Gade Srinivas’s house at Sankesa near Chilukodu to bring him to the panchayat, he noticed that the man who was spotted with his wife was following him.

When Rajeshwara Rao tried to catch him, the man ran away. After reaching Chilukodu, he checked his wife’s mobile phone and found that she had sent several messages to her lover, Purimetla Saidulu, on WhatsApp and Instagram asking him to get rid of her husband.

She allegedly advised Saidulu, who works as a courier boy, not to kill her husband at home but to engage others to kill him in an accident outside. Rajeshwara Rao handed over copies of the chats allegedly sent by his wife to her lover to the police.

A Zero FIR was registered at Dornakal police station, and the case was transferred to Khammam Rural police station, police said.
