Police check KT Rama Rao’s vehicle at Jillella poll checkpoint
Police inspected BRS working president KT Rama Rao’s vehicle at a poll check post in Jillella on Wednesday. The inspection was part of routine checks to curb illegal transport during gram panchayat elections. Officials found nothing and allowed him to proceed.
Rajanna-Sircilla: Police checked the vehicle of BRS working president KT Rama Rao at Jillella of Thangallapalli mandal on the Sircilla-Siddipet main road on Wednesday.
As part of the gram panchayat elections, election authorities and police have set up a check post at Jillella on the inter-district border and are checking vehicles to curb illegal transportation of money, liquor and other materials.
It was as part of this exercise that they checked Rama Rao’s vehicle as he was proceeding towards Sircilla to distribute insurance bonds to autorickshaw drivers. The BRS leader cooperated with election officials, who checked his vehicle and after finding nothing, allowed him to proceed.
