Hyderabad: As part of security arrangements for the upcoming municipal elections, police conducted a flag march in Turkappally village under the Genome Valley police station limits on Thursday.
Officials from the Genome Valley and Jagadgirigutta police stations jointly carried out foot patrolling across the village. The exercise aimed to keep a close watch on suspicious movements and ensure law and order during the election period.
Police appealed to residents to remain calm and exercise their voting rights freely and peacefully.
