Nizamabad: Police cracked a murder case of an elderly man here. According to the police, the man was beaten to death by his son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter over an old dispute, at Mangalpahad village of Yedapally mandal in Nizamabad district.
According to Bodhan Rural Inspector Ravinder Naik, Nadipi Sailoo’s (69) body was found at Mangalpahad village on April 29.
Inspector Ravinder Naik said that the police had registered a case and held inquiry. During their probe, the police found that the deceased’s elder son Pedda Sailoo, his wife Anitha and their daughter Pavani had killed Nadipi Sailoo by hitting him with sticks.
Pedda Sailoo was arrested on Tuesday and sent to remand. The other two accused are at large, said the Inspector.
