Mancherial: As part of community policing, police distributed 100 blankets to the poor and elderly at Kankur village in Jaipur mandal on Sunday. Jaipur Assistant Commissioner of Police G Narender was the chief guest of the event.
Narender praised Srirampur Inspector B Raju and Jaipur Sub-Inspector Ramakrishna for donating the blankets to the financially challenged persons. He stated that police were always in the forefront in helping the needy. He advised the youngsters to shun bad habits and to excel in academics. He later distributed volleyball kits to certain youngsters.
Srirampur Inspector B Raju and Jaipur Sub-Inspector Ramakrishna, Kankur Sarpanch Venkatesh and many others were present.
