Police nab UP farmer running country made gun racket in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A farmer from Uttar Pradesh, who was running a country made guns racket was nabbed by the Rachakonda Special Operations Team on Wednesday. The police seized two pistols, a tapancha and 10 live rounds from him.
Acting on specific information, the police caught Hare Krishna Yadav (26), a resident of Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh. He had worked in a company at Bibinagar Nalgonda between 2019 and 2022, before heading back to his native place.
“As Krishna’s village is located on border with Bihar, the man planned to purchase country made weapons locally and sell across the country to earn profits,” said Rachakonda Commissioner of Police, G Sudheer Babu.
Krishna got in touch with some people who were manufacturing the weapons illegally and started purchasing it from one Sampath Yadav of Bhojpur district in Bihar. Recently, he allegedly purchased two pistols, a tapancha and 10 bullets from Sampath.
“To sell the weapons, Krishna came to the city and was searching for some customers when a team caught him at Jawaharnagar,” said Rachakonda CP. The police seized 2 country made pistols (0.32mm), a tapancha, 10 live rounds and mobile phone from him.
