Police recover mobile phone of Raj Kumar
Future City police have launched an investigation after a man, identified by bus tickets as Raj Kumar, was found dead in Kothur. Commissioner Tarun Joshi stated that a recovered mobile phone and pesticide bottle are undergoing forensic analysis
Hyderabad: Commissioner, Future City, Tarun Joshi on Monday said the police recovered a mobile phone from the scene where Raj Kumar was found dead at Kothur.
“We are working to retrieve data from the phone, which is expected to provide vital clues regarding the circumstances leading to the death. More details would be revealed once the forensic examination is completed and the deceased is identified,” said Tarun Joshi.
He said bus tickets and cash was found with the Raj Kumar, and also one litre of pesticide bottle was lying near the body.
“It would take some time to ascertain whether the deceased had travelled after the incident or was residing locally, as the investigation is still at a preliminary stage. A bottle was recovered from the scene. The exact cause of death and other crucial details will be known only after the post-mortem examination and other forensic analyses are completed,” said the official.
Meanwhile, the body of Raj Kumar was shifted to the Government Hospital at Chevella for postmortem examination.
