Police resorts to lathi-charge on Samantha fans at Nalgonda
A large number of youth and women gathered at the shopping mall to have a glimpse of the actress. There was some jostling and the police used force to disperse the crowd, in which couple of youth received injuries.
Nalgonda: Police resorted to lathi charge to disperse people who gathered at a function attended by popular cine actress Samantha in Nalgonda on Wednesday. The popular cine actress arrived in Nalgonda to inaugurate a shopping mall on Hyderabad road on Wednesday.

A large number of youth and women gathered at the shopping mall to have a glimpse of the actress. There was some jostling and the police used force to disperse the crowd, in which couple of youth received injuries. People alleged that some policemen who were posted at the mall over reacted and began thrashing people who stood at far end of the mall also.
A youth Pogula Raju, who injured in police lathicharge, said that he was a worker of Nalgonda municipality and came to see the cine actress. A police constable indiscriminately lathicharged on him and an injury received on his hand, he alleged.
