Hyderabad: Actor Poonam Kaur’s upcoming film ‘Nathicharami’ is based on real-life incidents. Also starring actor Arvind Krishna and Sandesh Buri in the lead roles, the film is directed by Nagu Gavara. The film’s trailer was dropped recently on social media.
“The story has been written on the basis of true incidents that happened in Hyderabad around the year 2000. The characters are totally fictional. The drama has emotional scenes between a married couple. Back at the turn of the century, the trend of many Indians migrating to the US for greener pastures started in a big way. Our movie is about what a family had to go through because of the Y2K crisis. This is a family drama with crime at its centre. Arvind Krishna, Poonam Kaur and Sandesh Buri are the actors whose characters are at the centre of a conflict,” said the director.
Presented by Shrilaxmi Enterprises, the film is produced by A Studio 24 Frames’ Jai Vaishnavi K. The film is going to be released on OTT soon.
The makers are hopeful that the performances will stand out and said it is a film for audiences of all age groups.
