‘Pootakoollavva’ novel by Madarapu Vanishree launched in Hyderabad

Madarapu Vanishree’s novel ‘Pootakoollavva’ was launched at Oxford Grammar School, Himayatnagar, at an event organised by the Deccan Heritage Academy Trust. The author said human relationships, social circumstances and her life experiences inspired her to write the novel.

Hyderabad: ‘Pootakoollavva’, a novel written by Madarapu Vanishree, was launched at an event under the aegis of the Deccan Heritage Academy Trust, here on Tuesday.

The programme was held at Oxford Grammar School, Himayatnagar, with Dr S Raghu, Associate Professor, Osmania University, presiding over the event. K Anandachary, Associate Editor, Nava Telangana, formally launched the novel.

Trust Chairman Manikonda Vedakumar delivered the introductory remarks, while poet and critic Dr Kondapalli Niharini reviewed the novel. The programme was coordinated by Dr Idikozu Srinivasachary.

Author Madarapu Vanishree said the life she observed around her, human relationships, social circumstances, and experiences of life had inspired her to write ‘Pootakoollavva’. Several prominent writers, literary figures, and researchers attended the book launch.
