Popular Telugu singer Sunitha Upadrashta gets engaged

The popular voice of Telugu cinema confirms the news with a beautiful message on her social media account. Popular Telugu singer Sunitha Upadrashta got engaged to Ram Veerapaneni on Monday morning in the presence of family members. The wedding dates are yet to be finalised.

There have been rumours doing the rounds about her second marriage for quite a long time which the Gulabi singer earlier denied. However, on Monday, Sunitha confirmed the news of her engagement with Ram on her social media account and shared some photographs from her intimate engagement ceremony.

Sharing the pictures, Sunitha wrote, “Like every mother, I dream of settling my children down well. At the same time I am blessed with wonderful and thoughtful children and parents who always want to see me well settled in life…. the moment has finally come… Ram has entered my life as a caring friend and a wonderful partner.. we both are delighted to enter into wedlock very soon. Thanks to all my well wishers who understand that I keep my life very private. Please support and be with me as you always do.”

Ram Veerapaneni alias Ramakrishna Veerapaneni is reportedly the MD of Whacked out media and also the CEO for Mango Music. In the pictures, one can see Sunitha looking beautiful in a dark blue sari, while Ram is seen sporting a white shirt and black trousers. The couple looks radiant as they are set to start their life together. Sunitha and Ram took blessings from their parents, and shared the happiness with their kids.

Earlier, Sunitha got married at the age of 19 to Kiran Kumar Goparaju with whom she has two children – Aakash Goparaju and Shreya Goparaju.

The singer started her career at the young age of 17. Her commercial singing career began in the year 1995 with the Telugu movie Gulabi. Other than being a playback singer, she is also an anchor and dubbing artiste. She has also received 9 Nandi Awards, which is the highest award for excellence in the Telugu entertainment industry.
