Post-Graduate College clinches Osmania University inter-college men’s hockey title

Post-Graduate College (Secunderabad) won the Osmania University Inter-College Men’s Hockey Championship after defeating Anwar-ul-Uloom 5-2 in the final, while Government College of Physical Education edged AV College 3-2 via tie-breaker in the third-place match.

Hyderabad: Post-Graduate College (Secunderabad) defeated Anwar-ul-Uloom 5-2 in the final of the Osmania University inter-college hockey championship for men at Gymkhana Ground here.

Uday Kiran, Prakash, Bhanu Prakash, Sandeep and Nagaraju scored for the winners while Mohd Abdul and Neeraj were on target for the losers.


Govt. College of Physical Education, Domalguda defeated AV College 3-2 via tie-breaker after the two teams were locked two all at full time.

Vijay, Nithin and Ram Lal scored for GCPE while Sai Prasad netted for GCPE Sai Prasad and Manu Balaji Scored in Tie Breaker.

Earlier in full-time, Vijay and Gautham were the scorers for GCPE while Shyam and Zohan netted for AV College.
