Posters claim encroachment of Endowments Department lands in Telangana’s Mancherial
Whistleblowers of Gudem village may have put up the posters in an attempt to protect the lands, say locals
Mancherial: Unidentified persons put up flex posters alleging that lands belonging to the Endowments Department were encroached upon at Gudem village in Dandepalli mandal, on Sunday.
The posters were exhibited near the ancient Sri Satyanarayana Swamy Devasthanam located at a hillock near Gudem village. The locals urged officials to save the lands encroached by some persons.
The posters created a flutter in the temple village. Locals said that whistleblowers of the village might have put up the posters in an attempt to protect the lands. They opined that the assets of the Endowment Department were being encroached by some politicians following lack of protection by the department.
