Prabhas’ Salaar re-release makes big openings, crosses Tumbbad’s comeback numbers at box office
Salaar reportedly overtakes the earnings of Tumbbad with tickets sold in the Southern states
Hyderabad: Prabhas‘s superhit movie ‘Salaar: Cease Fire,’ which was re-released in theatres on Friday due to significant demand from fans, has made huge openings at the box-office.
According to Track BO, which keeps a tab on earnings of movies at the box office, Salaar has already crossed the record earnings of Tumbbad, which earned Rs. 1.6 crore on its re-release.
Interestingly, it also reports that the earnings of the movie crossed Tumbbad’s figures with tickets sold in the Southern states.
The first installment of Salaar, which came out in 2023, hits the screens in a grand scale with it being shown in over 60 screens in Hyderabad alone.
Prabhas fans are over the moon with the re-release of the action-packed movie, which also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan.
The massive response shows the actor’s popularity in across the country.
