Versatile actor Prakash Raj unveiled the teaser of the upcoming movie ‘Bhagat Singh Nagar’. The movie, which stars actors Vidharth and Dhruvika in the lead, entered the post-production stage.
Speaking during the event, Prakash Raj said that the audio-visuals that were played at the event turned him nostalgic as it reminded him of his films for the past 30 years.
“It reminded me of all the talented directors I got to work with so far. But the part of me showing as a contestant for MAA elections isn’t good. Organisers should have consulted me before highlighting it at this event. It isn’t good. I know the makers did it out of respect and love for me. But I don’t approve of it,” said Prakash Raj.
‘Bhagat Singh Nagar’ is getting released simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil. Hailing the freedom fighter Bhagat Singh, Prakash Raj said, “He fought for humanity. Had he lived longer, he would have been another Che Guevara. Coming to this film, director Kranthi has selected a good subject. Meaningful movies like this one deserve everyone’s support. I hope the movie would come out well and entertain Telugu audiences,” he added.
Director Valaja Kranthi thanked Prakash Raj and said that the film is based on a line written by Bhagat Singh himself.
Other characters in the film include Banerjee, Ravi Prakash, Munichandra, Master Panchajanya, Ajay Ghosh, Prabhavathi, Sandhya, Jaya Kumar, Jaya Chandra, Mahesh, Omar, Shankar and Venkatesh. The cinematography is by Rajesh Peter, and Kalyan Sami.
