Hyderabad: The IAS Association has strongly condemned the comments made by former APSRTC chairman Gone Prakash Rao against Adilabad Collector Sikta Patnaik in an interview with some television channels. The association, in a statement, urged Director General of Police Mahender Reddy to initiate necessary action for highly objectionable remarks against a woman officer. The association further observed that such statements by a political leader against a sincere officer working in a remote district would not only demoralise the officer but also others working in the State.
