Hyderabad: FIDE-rated Pranay Akula of Hyderabad won the A2H Open blitz prize money chess tournament here despite tying with three others with five points each by virtue of tie break rule.
Pranay was declared winner while Chidvilash Sai second and Karthik Sai and Srujan Keerthan third and fourth respectively.
The winner received a prize of Rs 4000, runner-up Rs 3000.

Hyd District athletics Selections on July 11
Hyderabad District Athletic Association will organise selection trials to pick the district teams for the fourth Telangana State middle and long-distance athletic meet at Gymkhana Ground here on July 11.
Competitions will be held for boys and girls in the age groups of under-14, 16, 18 and 20 years in triathlon, 800m, 1500m, 3000 m, 5000 m and 10 km.
