Prasidh Ambati won the juniors category, and Shanmukha Pulli topped the open category at the 231st Brilliant Trophy chess tournament, with several players excelling across various age groups at Brilliant Grammar High School

Hyderabad: In the juniors category of the 231st Brilliant Trophy chess tournament, Prasidh Ambati won the event by scoring six points from six rounds, while Kenith Urla secured second place with 5.5 points and B. Yogitha took third place with five points from six rounds here at Brilliant Grammar High School (Dilsukhnagar) on Sunday.

In the open category, Shanmukha Pulli won the event by scoring 5.5 points from six rounds. Ritesh Maddukuri and K. Salman secured second and third places respectively with five points from six rounds.
