Prathiksha’s century powers Hyderabad into knockout stage

V Prathiksha’s unbeaten 114 guided Hyderabad to a 110-run win over Jammu & Kashmir in the BCCI Women’s under-19 one-day tournament at Lucknow. Hyderabad posted 337/5 before restricting J&K to 227/4, securing a place in the knockout stage

Hyderabad: V Prathiksha’s century (114 n.o., 75b, 13×4, 4×6) helped Hyderabad drub Jammu & Kashmir by 110 runs and qualify for the knockout stage of the BCCI Women’s under-19 one-day cricket tournament in Lucknow on Sunday.

Batting first, Hyderabad scored 337 for five in 50 overs with P Akshaya Reddy (35) and K Nidhi (78) being the other main scorers.


In reply, Jammu & Kashmir was restricted to 227 for four in 50 overs.

The scores: At Lucknow: Hyderabad 337/5 in 50 overs (Katta 59, P Akshaya Reddy 35, K Nidhi 78, V Prathiksha 114 n.o.) bt Jammu & Kashmir 227/4 in 50 overs (B Kayinat 60, Aleeza Jan 35, S Sania 43 n.o., A Ayushi 46).
