Memorandum of Understanding signed to provide agriculture technical information for the development of mobile app and e-commerce website of e-Rythu
Hyderabad: To build mutual cooperation and take up farming as a service in the public interest of action research, policy analysis, policy advice, crop advisory, monitoring, evaluation, system development and technology development, Hyderabad-based Prathima Agri Services has entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) here on Tuesday.
PJTSAU Registrar Dr S Sudheer Kumar and Prathima Agri Services, CEO, V Ramana Rao signed the MoU in the presence of PJTSAU, Vice-Chancellor, Dr V Praveen Rao during an event held virtually.
The MoU will provide agriculture technical information for the development of mobile app and e-commerce website of e-Rythu, the press release said adding that e-Rythu would provide a one-stop solution for all kinds of agri inputs like crop protection, crop nutrition, seeds and implements with corresponding advisory and guidance to farmers at their doorstep.
Further, it would provide multiple brand high quality products at best competitive price at one place. Initially 30 retail outlets across Telangana would be opened besides there were plans for franchisee models.
Each retail outlet would have three agriculture graduates/diploma candidates to serve the farmers. These apart, additional services like soil testing, water testing, smart card facility to track farming operations of farmers and custom hiring centres of farm machinery would be offered to farmers, the press release added.
