‘Pratiyogita’ sports fest concludes at Sridevi Women’s Engineering College

The two-day Sports Fest ‘Pratiyogita’ concluded at Sridevi Women’s Engineering College. Students from various engineering colleges competed in multiple games. SWEC won three titles, while VNR VJIET secured the volleyball championship.

Hyderabad: A two-day Sports Fest ‘Pratiyogita’ concluded on Saturdayat Sridevi Women’s Engineering College. The inaugural ceremony was attended by Chepur Sridevi, who emphasized the importance of sports in promoting discipline, sportsmanship, and stress relief.

The fest featured various games like Basketball, Throwball, Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Kabaddi, Chess, and Shotput, with participation from teams across several colleges, including VJIT, VBIT, CBIT, VNR VJIET, Vasavi College of Engineering, and HITAM.


The valedictory ceremony celebrated the winners, with SWEC winning Kho-Kho, Basketball, and Kabaddi, and VNR VJIET winning Volleyball. The event was organized by the management, Principal Dr A Narmada, Faculty Coordinators, Dr P Rajalingam and B Sudhakar Reddy, and student coordinators Meghana and Charishma, with support from faculty and student volunteers.
