Pregnant woman delivers baby with help of devotees amid heavy rains at Khairatabad Ganesh pandal
During Khairatabad Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, a pregnant woman went into labor while waiting in line. Fellow devotees assisted her in a nearby community hall, ensuring the safe delivery of her baby. Telangana Governor performed the ‘Toli Pooja’ at the pandal.
Hyderabad: Amid heavy rains, a pregnant woman went into labor while waiting in the queue for Khairatabad Ganesh darshan on Wednesday.
According to information available, the woman was assisted by fellow devotees who shifted her to a nearby community hall and helped her deliver the baby. Both the mother and child are said to be safe.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, during the annual Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at the Khairatabad Ganesh pandal. According to initial reports, the pregnant woman is a native of Rajasthan and arrived early to partake in the darshan festivities.
While waiting in line, she experienced the onset of labour and noticing the situation other devotees in the queue came to her aid.
Meanwhile, Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma offered ‘Toli Pooja’ (first pooja) to 69-tall Khairatabad eco-friendly Ganesh at the pandal.
