New Delhi: Actor Preity Zinta criticised the viral video claiming she ignored Aamir Khan and said such content is nothing but clickbait.
The video, which was shared online, featured the actor exiting her vanity van as she asked photographers for directions, saying, “Where to go”. Following, she crossed Khan without noticing him. “Oh no, Preity Zinta ignored Aamir Khan,” read the text on it.
Zinta responded to the clip in the comment section and said she didn’t notice the actor. “This kind of clickbait content is not cool. I didn’t see Aamir as I was in a rush to shoot some Shots inside & then catch a flight for ‘Batwara 1947’ Promotions. Next time pls don’t expect me to stop and take pictures if your intent is to promote any kind of negativity! I have a LOT of love & respect for Aamir, so this is not in good taste,” she wrote.
The actor is set to appear in “Batwara 1947”. The film is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and is produced under Khan’s production banner Aamir Khan Productions. It is set against the 1947 Partition, and also features Sunny Deol and Shabana Azmi.
The film will release on August 14 and marks Zinta’s return to acting after eight years. It also reunites Zinta with Deol, who have previously worked in films such as “The Hero: Love Story of a Spy”, “Farz” and “Heroes”, among others. Composer A R Rahman has composed the music for the film.
