Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police Commissioner M Stephen Raveendra on Thursday held a review meeting with all officers in the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate.
The Commissioner reviewed under investigation cases, pendency, grave cases, POCSO Act and women-related cases among others. He reviewed the status of investigation in these cases and asked officers to prepare a specific plan of action to reduce the pendency in a time-bound manner by pooling available resources at all levels to meet State-level standards.
Raveendra said the performance of each police station would be measured on a regular basis to improve the investigation standards. “The expeditious investigation of cases is crucial in the criminal justice system,” he said.
Officials from the level of DCP to the lower ranks participated both in office and online mode.
