Understanding the importance of technology and its future, Delhi Public School, Nacharam celebrated Techno Week 2020 earlier this month. Starting with a special assembly, the event continued with a plethora of programmes that helped students understand the trending tech easily.
The highlights were the innovative technological presentations and interactive quiz hosted by the students to guess the MNC’s name by co-relating the images presented to them. Principal Sunitha Rao addressed the students about the importance of digital literacy and technology.
She also stressed on taking technology to greater heights with the framework of Cybersafety.
Presentations on the topics AR/VR Technologies, Artificial Intelligence, the evolution of computer generations, cybersafety, career scope in the field of IT, the impact of Covid on IT and many more were showcased by the students of classes XI and XII. The students enthusiastically participated in competitions like creating a template/poster depicting the impact of Covid-19 on IT. The programme concluded with a congratulatory note by senior Vice-Principal and Computer Science department Prasad and Rangachary.
