President Droupadi Murmu confers AVSM on Lt Gen Neeraj Varshney
President Droupadi Murmu presented the Ati Vishisht Seva Medal (AVSM) to Lt Gen Neeraj Varshney, Commandant of MCEME and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of EME, during the Defence Investiture Ceremony – Phase II at Rashtrapati Bhavan on June 29.
Hyderabad: President of India Droupadi Murmu conferred the Ati Vishisht Seva Medal (AVSM) upon Lt Gen Neeraj Varshney, VSM, Commandant, Military College of Electronics & Mechanical Engineering (MCEME) & Colonel Commandant, Corps of EME.
The medal was conferred during the Defence Investiture Ceremony Phase-II at Rashtrapati Bhavan on June 29, according to a press release issued here on Tuesday.
The award is a testament to Gen Varshney’s exceptional leadership, distinguished service and unwavering commitment to the Nation as well as a proud moment for MCEME & Corps of EME, the press release added.
