Hyderabad: Pristine Eye Hospitals in Hyderabad on Wednesday launched an exclusive facility to treat Dry Eye among patients and unveiled two public awareness campaigns including ‘Link Break’ and ‘No More Screen Time, to encourage users to take conscious blinking breaks, promote digital eye health and early detection of dry eye condition, through its non-profit arm Pristine Vision Foundation.
The campaigns aim to encourage users to take conscious blinking breaks, promote digital eye health, and facilitate early detection and treatment of dry eye conditions. The dedicated facility is expected to play a key role in addressing the increasing incidence of Digital Eye Strain and DED.
Dr. Chinnababu Sunkavalli, onco surgeon and founder of Grace Cancer Foundation, and Naved Alam Khan, CEO of the Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC), inaugurated the facility.
Special Chief Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, who attended the event virtually, appreciated the hospital for conducting free eye screenings for over 700 home guards within the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate, as part of its commitment to community well-being.
Dr. C Jagadesh Reddy, Cornea, Cataract and Refractive Surgeon and Founder of Pristine Eye Hospitals, and other dignitaries were also present.
