Private bus gutted in fire in Hyderabad

The driver had parked the bus on the road side at Madannapet and went away in the evening. Late in the night, local people noticed flames and alerted the police.

Hyderabad: A private bus was gutted down in a fire accident at Madannapet on Wednesday night. The driver had parked the bus on the road side at Madannapet and went away in the evening. Late in the night, local people noticed flames and alerted the police.

On information the police reached the spot and called in the fire service personnel. A fire tender from Malakpet fire station reached the spot and doused the flames.

The police suspect that fire broke out due to short circuit. However, they are also enquiring if there was any sabotage.
