Private school teacher accused of beating student in Zaheerabad
An incident of corporal punishment at a private school in Zaheerabad came to light after a teacher allegedly beat a Class VIII student, causing injuries and mental trauma. The victim’s family approached police, but no case has been registered yet
Sangareddy: An incident of corporal punishment in a private school in Zaheerabad town came to light on Monday, four days after a teacher allegedly beat an eighth-class student. Though the parents of the victim approached the police, a case has not been registered so far.
According to the victim’s uncle, Mohd Taher, his nephew, Sayyad Faizan, is studying in Class VIII at Shaheen School in Zaheerabad. He alleged that the social science teacher, Mohd Afsar, beat the student without any valid reason.
Taher said that Faizan sustained serious injuries in the incident, which also caused mental trauma and humiliation. He appealed to the police to take stern action against the teacher.
