Nizamabad: Thanking Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for his decision to distribute Rs 2,000 and and 25 kg rice to all the teaching and non-teaching staff of recognised private schools, the teachers of recognised private schools performed ksheerabhishekam to the Chief Minister’s portrait in Nizamabad district.
Teachers from Navipet-based Little Flower High School and other private schools hailed the Chief Minister for his gesture and stated that they were facing several problems for the last one year, following closure of schools due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Gopal Reddy, the Private Teachers Association President said that in the last one year, several private school teachers have commited suicide due to economic problems and those who were alive were struggling to survive. He said that finally Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao understood their problems and came to their aid.
Both teachers and non-teaching staff expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for providing financial assistance to them and poured milk on Chandrashekhar Rao’ portrait at the school premises. In this program, private school teachers Govardhan, Srinivas Rao, Hanumandlu, Shyam, and other school teachers participated.
