Probe began on sexual harassment allegations against Nellore hospital chief
Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister Alla Nani said on Friday that stringent action would be taken on the erring once the reports were submitted to the government in 24 hours
Nellore: Andhra Pradesh government has taken a serious view of the allegations of sexual harassment by Nellore government general hospital superintendent against a medico. Two committees have already begun probing the issue.
Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister Alla Nani said on Friday that stringent action would be taken on the erring once the reports were submitted to the government in 24 hours.
An audio recording of the foul language used by the superintendent while talking to a girl student of medical college came to light on Thursday. Though no complaint was lodged, the State Women’s Commission sought taking it up suo motu and probe the incident of sexual harassment for bringing the culprit to book.
