Prof Suresh Lal appointed dean of faculty of social sciences, Kakatiya University
Prof Lal is serving as head of the department and director of the Centre for Distance and Online Education at Kakatiya University
Hanamkonda: Prof B Suresh Lal has been appointed as the dean of the faculty of social sciences and in-charge dean of the faculty of arts, Kakatiya University, Warangal.
University Vice-Chancellor Prof K Pratap Reddy issued appointment orders for a period of two years. Prof Lal is serving as the head of the department and director of the Centre for Distance and Online Education at Kakatiya University.
He has 29 years of experience in teaching and research, and serves as Editor of the International Journal of Environment and Development. He completed six research projects, has 773 citations, with a notable h-index of 15 and has received 1.4 million reads on ResearchGate.
Prof Lal has been elected as Fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society UK, the International Academy of Social Sciences, USA and the International Society for Development and Sustainability, Japan. He is a jury member of the Global Undergraduate Awards-Ireland.
