Property dispute: Man killed by sister’s family in Siddipet
Kanakaiah along with his two brothers was seeking a share of the three acres land which his sister had
Siddipet: The Siddipet police cracked the mystery behind the murder of Dondakayala Kanakaiah (54), a resident of Akunuru, who was found dead at Selampu on February 7.
The Three-Town police found that his elder sister Abbu Yadavva, her husband Papaiah, son Krishna Murthy, daughter Kavitha, and Kavitha’s husband Yellalu had killed him. The police said that Yadavva had three acres of land registered in her name. However, her three younger brothers were fighting for their share.
Since Kanakaiah was leading them, Yadavva and her family decided to eliminate him. They beat him with sticks and later strangled him to death.
The police arrested the five and seized a car and two bikes from them.
