Hyderabad: Property worth a few lakhs of rupees was gutted down when fire broke out at a furniture workshop and a decoration material godown in Mailardevpally in the city outskirts on Sunday.

According to the fire officials, the fire started at a furniture-making workshop located at Shastripuram and spread into an adjacent compound housing a decoration material godown.

On noticing the huge flames coming from both premises, the locals informed the fire services. Fire tenders from nearby fire stations rushed to the spot and doused the fire.
