Kothagudem: The protection of Singareni properties was the collective responsibility of all SCCL employees and officials, stated the company Director (Finance, PA&W), N Balram.
In a statement here on Wednesday, he warned that serious action, as per law, would be initiated against those who were resorting to illegal constructions on SCCL lands. All steps would be taken to protect the company lands from illegal encroachments.
The company had built quarters on the land allotted to Singareni for its employees. The rest of the land would be used for the future needs of the company. Officials, employees and union leaders should take responsibility to protect such valuable lands, he suggested
The company has a special unit to protect assets and lands of the SCCL and they have clear instructions to operate in accordance with the rules and regulations of the company in preserving the Singareni assets.
The company officials have the right to remove illegal constructions in Singareni lands. Concerned authorities and the security department were delivering their duties with the main objective of safeguarding the company’s assets, he noted.
