Protests against PM Modi’s comments in Karimnagar
Besides taking out bike rallies holding black flags, effigies of Modi were also burnt. Raising slogans against the Prime Minister, the agitating people demanded that he apologise to the people of Telangana and withdraw his comments.

Karimnagar: TRS activists on Wednesday staged protest demonstrations across erstwhile Karimnagar district in protest against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s comments on Statehood for Telangana.

Besides taking out bike rallies holding black flags, effigies of Modi were also burnt. Raising slogans against the Prime Minister, the agitating people demanded that he apologise to the people of Telangana and withdraw his comments.

Jagtial MLA Dr Sanjay Kumar along with TRS workers staged dharna at collectorate office.

In Karimnagar, a huge bike rally was taken out from Markfed grounds to Telangana Chowk, where an effigy of Modi was burnt. Similar protest was held in Yellareddypet of Rajanna-Sircilla district.

Ruling party activists staged protests and burnt the effigy of the Prime Minister in Godavarikhani and Dharmaram of Peddapalli district.
