Karimnagar: District Collector K Shashanka instructed doctors on Friday to provide quality treatment to Covid-19 patients in the district headquarters hospital.
Speaking after visiting the Covid ward in the district headquarters hospital where he enquired about the treatment being provided to patients, Shashanka said there was no shortage of medicines, injections, beds, oxygen and ventilators. “Patients should be confident since doctors are providing quality treatment,” he said.
When compared to other district hospitals, better treatment has been provided to patients in Karimnagar hospital, he informed and advised hospital staff that oxygen, which would play a vital role in providing treatment to corona patients, should be utilized in a proper way without wasting it.
He also advised doctors and nursing staff to provide treatment to Covid patients by working with a commitment.
Hospital superintendent Dr Ratnamala, nodal officers Ch Manoj Kumar, Puli Madhusudhan, RMO Dr Shouraiah, doctors Dr Krishna Prasad, Dr Srinivas, Dr Naveen and others were present.
