Hyderabad: The Chilkalguda police caught a trader for impersonating as a reporter and moving on the road during the lockdown here on Friday. He had affixed a ‘Press’ sticker on his vehicle, police said. The suspect was stopped by police personnel at a checkpoint and when asked to display his identity card, he failed to do so.
On further questioning, he confessed that he was a chicken trader and not a reporter, and said he had used the car to transport fowl for his business and to evade police checking. The police booked a case of cheating and have taken up investigation.
