Hyderabad: Punjab National Bank celebrated its 128th Foundation Day on Tuesday. “The Bank was founded in 1895 had stood strong and high, catering the financial needs of the customers throughout these years. We have achieved numerous milestones. We continue to strive to make banking with PNB a pleasant experience for customers. We are India’s second largest public sector bank. We brought in innovative digital products like PNB ONE app, pre- approved digital personal loans, virtual debit cards and others,” said Hyderabad Zonal Manager Sanjeevan Nikhar.
Nikhar, who inaugurated the celebrations, thanked customers and staff members for their support and contribution. The Bank organised free medical camps in Hyderabad. It also distributed fans and other items to an orphanage under its corporate social responsibility.
“We reiterate our commitment to ensure highest standard of quality and service for our customers. We have leveraged technology to offer mobile apps and internet banking. With many digital products on offer and partnerships with fintechs for using AI- driven automation, PNB is at the forefront of digital banking revolution in India,” said Hyderabad Circle Head NVS Prasad Reddy. All branches felicitated customers, he added.
