Hyderabad: Punjab National Bank organised a MSME credit camp under Atmanirbhar Abhiyan scheme of the Central government, to create awareness along with offering of credit support to entrepreneurs coming from various business sectors of MSME.
This was the second time such initiative was taken by PNB during the current financial year, a press release stated. The camp was inaugurated by NVS Prasad Reddy, Circle Head, Hyderabad and was attended by bank officials and MSME borrowers.
Prasad Reddy said, “Our bank has always gone a step ahead while providing financial assistance to MSME sector. In continuation to the earlier call given by DFS to conduct credit outreach camps during the month of October, we have once again organised credit camp specific to MSME entrepreneurs.”
During the camp, over 80 MSME borrowers attended and the bank received fresh loan applications amounting to Rs 220 crore under various MSME schemes of the bank. Also the bank conveyed new sanctions to the tune of Rs 123 crore to MSME borrowers.
