Hyderabad: The combination of Icon Star Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna with filmmaker Sukumar has resulted in massive hype at the Telugu box office before the movie could even release in theatres.
As the advance bookings of the most-awaited movie in the calendar year 2021 are open, the action entertainer is drawing massive reception. It is expected that the Allu Arjun starrer would end in record-breaking box office numbers in the Nizam territory thus likely to edge out previous records of Prabhas starrer ‘Saaho’ which enjoys the opening day record in Nizam.
Meanwhile, the situation in Andhra Pradesh is not the same as it is in Telangana. The AP High Court’s order allowing theatre owners to hike ticket prices has come as a breather but the State government has its own plans to strictly implement rules related to movie screening in theatres. Even as uncertainty persists in the region, the buzz of Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa’ seems to have not died down. For the film ‘Pushpa’ will be cashing on any major opening when it hits the screens on Friday. If the controversy on ticket prices are resolved, the trade pundits expect that ‘Pushpa’ could be in the list of the top three, if not the frontrunner, all-time box office opening in Telugu.
